All LumeJet L.Type Prints are printed on professional quality Fuji silver halide media. Fujicolor Crystal Archive DP II is a silver halide colour paper with a thicker base and high stiffness, designed exclusively for digital printing. This paper yields high-image-quality digital prints that make it suitable for such professional uses as portrait or commercial photography. It has the highest level of image stability, so it is ideal for display purposes. The Fujicolor Premium Crystal Archive Premium HDX X-Tra Coat is preferred for book products and other applications where there will be a lot of handling, given its protective coating that resists fingerprints. It also glues very well and creases very cleanly. HDX X-Tra Coat is available in matte and gloss finishes. Fujicolor Premium Crystal Archive Premium HDX X-Tra Coat is available as a special order item, please contact us for further details.
Our signature product is the L.Type mounted print. This is printed on the same Fujicolour professional paper as all our prints, but is then mounted on a 350gsm acid-free board. This gives a wonderful luxury feel to the product and makes it much easier to handle and resistant to creasing without in any way compromising your ability to frame your print. Prints can be propped up or passed around in a way that simply isn't possible for a normal print, and if you are giving your print as a gift, this is one way to make it extra special. Unfortunately, due to packaging restrictions, we are currently unable to supply mounted prints with a length of greater than 420mm. 18"x12" prints are, however, available mounted if ordered in quantities of 10 or more. Please also note that the L.Type mounted glossy finish option produces a slightly less dense resultant print, due to the surface finish, when compared to the matte, lustre and silk finishes.
